Martin Luther King Jr.

If you know anything about American history you know about Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement, or you’re at least celebrating his day every January when you get that extra Monday off of work! But did you know that on that day, August 28, 1963, over 250,000 demonstrators gathered together at the National Mall for the march on Washington for jobs and freedom? There’s a lot to learn about that special day in American history, a lot that your 7th grade teachers didn’t share!
